Robocash warns the public not to fall victim to entities or individual pretending to be its authorized representatives or employees

When your account is past due, Robocash and our accredited collection agencies will only give you few phone calls and send you messages, letters and other standard collection practice in compliance with the law. Those collection efforts are fairly standard. Just like anybody else, we’re also allowed to knock on your doors and ask questions in an attempt to collect payments. But here’s another story:

These entities or individuals would allegedly scare and threaten our clients by shaming them during field visits to pressure them to pay or by posting messages on social networking sites in a way that might potentially reveal their identities as  persons being pursued for the collection of a debt. These kinds of illegal collection activities put our clients in a bad light and such shame keeps our clients from communicating with us, refinancing their loans, or staying committed to debt repayment plans.

Robocash follows certain rules, consistent with fair debt collection practices, so we reiterate the following:

-We do not shame and/or threaten our clients on social networking sites.

-We do not post faces of our delinquent clients across the web.

-We do not ask our clients to pay processing fee first via GCash, PayMaya or any means of sending money. Our processing fee is deducted once client receives the proceeds of the approved loan.

-We do not falsely claim that our client has committed a crime or say he/she will be arrested for non-payment of debt.

-We do not take assets/ valuables or take cash out of their bank accounts to pay or reduce the money they owe.

Robocash urges the public to be vigilant as these deceptive entities and individuals are good at scheming. The plain truth is that our client’s embarrassment and reluctance to share their experiences is key to their continued success.

In Robocash, we figure out where our client is coming from. If that doesn’t diffuse the situation, then we further explain our policies to them and let them know that they were made fully aware of these policies when they accepted the loan.

Robocash values the privacy of our clients and we are compliant with data privacy laws. We keep our clients’ data and concerns private and look at options to chase for payment behind the scenes. We don’t even discuss the matter with anyone other than our client.

Exposing a troublesome client could bring on even more problems than it solves. Pretending to be someone is a violation of the law and this could have legal repercussions.
